Please join us for the 1st annual USGBC-NJ Central Branch Summer BBQ Beach Social. We've chosen Jenkinson's Boardwalk and Beach as the perfect backdrop to a fun FAMILY focused event! The USGBC-NJ Central Branch believes strongly that our CHILDREN are the bridge to a sustainable and green future. And we're happy to sponsor THEIR first involvement in what we hope will be a lifetime of clean energy achievements!
Young, old, and GREEN "in betweeners" are welcome to eat, drink, and play with us at the beautiful Jenkinsons's Inlet Pavilion and Boardwalk. Enjoy a fabulous BBQ , music, great company, free fun and fireworks on the beach while showing the NEXT GENERATION what were working to preserve!

EGB-NJ presents: Hackensack Riverkeeper Cleanup

Come join the Emerging Green Builders of NJ as they join forces with the Hackensack Riverkeeper. The River Cleanup is organized and setup to work on foot to clear trash and other debris from the banks of the river as well as pulling trash out of the river from canoes. Cleanups generally last about four hours, and Hackensack Riverkeeper provides all the canoes, PFDs (personal flotation devices), paddles, hip waders, garbage bags, gloves, pickup sticks, rakes, shovels, meals and refreshments that you will need to get the job done. Just be sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. First come, first serve, RSVP to egbnj@comcast.net.

Open to all USGBC-NJ Members and their Families. First 18 children registered will be a "Baseball Buddy" and have the opportunity to run out on the field with the players before the game. Pricing includes ticket, 90 minute all-you-can eat buffet (Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, etc), unlimited draft beer until the 7th inning, unlimited fountain sodas/waters during the picnic/game and a visit from The Jackal himself! Picnic begins @ 6:00pm & Game begins @ 7:05pm.
