BACKGROUND
Bill Amann is the President of M&E Engineers, and has over 30 years of experience in energy systems He has worked as a mechanical contractor, in manufacturing, and as a pharmaceutical plant engineer. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is an expert in both mechanical and electrical engineering, and has used energy modeling and analysis as a design tool since the early 1980’s.
COMPANY
M&E Engineers is a full-service engineering consulting firm. M&E stands for mechanical and electrical, and the focus has always been on high-performance buildings, especially telecommunications,
data centers, and pharmaceuticals. The company has participated in a number of LEED Certification projects, as well as Energy Star Buildings. Several projects have earned LEED Silver Certification, and some current projects are anticipated to be Gold and Platinum.
