K-12 Education Sub-Committee
The K-12 Education Committee consists of individuals representing educational and business leaders that promote the integration of curriculum and lessons that foster sustainability and uses the USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system as a teaching tool and for curriculum development. Curriculum objectives are to align to NJ State Core Curriculum Content Standards, 21st Century Skills, research based teaching practices and address environmental education and technology to support green curriculum design. This committee is a sub-committee of the Green Schools Committee and meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Tech Center in North Brunswick.
